If you are interested in visiting a quaint, lovely town, we suggest you put Graaf-Reinet on your itinerary and book a suite at the Stockenstrom Guest House.
New owners, Gordon and Rose, will insure that every need is met. You'll enjoy friendly conversation, comfortable accommodations, great food and interesting things to do.
We recommend you have both breakfast and dinner at the Guesthouse. Gordon, a self-taught chef, prepares the dinners and appreciates the natural state of food. He doesn't bury the meat with sauces or unnecessary adornments. His desserts are elaborate and unique. For breakfast, you'll enjoy freshly baked breads and muffins, fresh fruit, yogurts, jams and other choices prepared as you wish. All of the food is beautifully presented and delicious.
Gordon and Rose will help you plan activities and make your stay memorable.
We were sad to say goodbye to our hosts and hope to stay in touch with them.
